Family getaway in nature's lap
The views from the hotel are SPECTACULAR! ! We loved the fresh scones served at 4 PM – they were to die for, just melted in our mouths! The kids adored the horse rides, leaving us time to relax. We enjoyed the hearty New Year’s Eve dinner. it was filling and the dessert was DELICIOUS!
It wasn’t exactly affordable, but I felt it was fair for what we got.

Clean room with a lovely bathroom, recently updated. Nice swimming pool area to pass the time, especially during those unexpected rainy days.
Lack of fridges in the room, which is inconvenient in South Africa's summer heat. The thin net curtains made it impossible to block out the sun or get proper rest. Dinner options lacked variety, and I found the meals unimpressive and poorly presented, like getting one slice of tomato with eggs and bacon.

the mountains were lovely, but the breakfast was absolutely terrible, with ONE slice of tomato for eggs. no fridges in the rooms? really? in summer? ! and to top it off, I expected at least a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. I almost left a good review, but just couldn’t, honestly.

Recommend it for families seeking relaxation
We stayed in a cozy bungalow that felt like home and had amazing views of the mountains. The kids loved the big roaring fire in the lounge while we played board games and enjoyed the delicious food they served!
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but it was fair enough for what we got.
